Rules for using StockTake software and subscriptions

Service brand: StockTake Online
Support email: support@stocktake.online
Effective date: 2026-10-31

What StockTake provides

StockTake is a browser-based inventory counting and stocktaking software platform. Depending on the purchased license, it can support barcode scanning, branch and committee administration, user permissions, counting records and reports. It does not sell or supply barcode scanners, PDA devices or other physical hardware.

Account and access

You are responsible for the accuracy of registration information, the users whom you authorize, and the confidentiality of your credentials. Access is limited to the features, branch and committee capacity, and period included with your purchased license. Use the service only for lawful purposes.

Plans, prices and activation

Current prices and covered capacity are presented on the pricing and checkout pages. The applicable currency, billing period and whether a purchase renews are displayed before you confirm the order. A free trial does not automatically establish a paid license. Payment confirmation through the payment provider, or approval of an eligible manual payment, is required before paid access is activated.

Currencies and exchange rates

StockTake subscription package prices are presented in the currency of the applicable country or market, regardless of the language selected on this website. For payments offered through Paddle, StockTake uses a USD-denominated checkout: the amount payable in US dollars (USD), including any applicable taxes or fees, must be presented to the customer before payment is confirmed. The conversion from the local market price is based on the exchange rate applicable to that payment attempt; rates may change between attempts. Do not submit a payment if the amount or currency presented at checkout differs from the amount you expected; contact support first. For approved manual payments, the payment remains in the applicable local market currency. Changing the checkout payment currency does not by itself change the currency of the underlying local-currency order or base invoice.

Payments and merchant of record

When you pay through Paddle Checkout, Paddle is the authorized reseller and merchant of record. Paddle handles payment processing, relevant transaction tax handling, buyer payment support, and refunds under its applicable buyer terms. When manual payment is selected, StockTake records the order and verifies payment through its separate manual approval process.

Subscription cancellation

If a purchase is a recurring subscription, its checkout or order confirmation will state the recurring billing terms and how to cancel future renewals. Cancellation does not itself reverse charges already processed; eligibility for a refund is explained in our Refund Policy and applicable law.

Customer data and accuracy

Customers retain responsibility for their inventory data, counting decisions, reconciliation and business records. The software supports stocktaking work but cannot guarantee that every barcode or inventory quantity is correct. Users should review and export important records as appropriate.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available, but connectivity, maintenance, device limitations, hardware, or third-party providers can affect access. Material changes to paid entitlements will be communicated when required by applicable law or the agreement.

Consumer rights and contact

Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. For account, product support or contract questions, use the Contact page or the published support email. Refund requests follow the Refund Policy.
